Ernst and Marilyn Bachmann founded Bachmanns Patisserie in 1989, building up an extremely loyal and growing customer base over the years. Today customers travel miles to visit the shop for its award-winning range of gateaux, speciality breads and chocolate creations.
Swiss-trained Ernst is renowned throughout the industry as one of the UK’s leading patissiers and chocolatiers, pioneering the skills and professionalism of Continental patisserie in England, creating and adapting recipes in response to changing market trends, fashions and palates.
Our talented and highly skilled team of Pastry Chefs create all our patisserie on the premises. We are dedicated to staff training and development, with a well-established in-house programme where apprentices learn these highly specialised skills.
