Ernst Bachmann wins lifetime
achievement award
Ernst Bachmann won the lifetime achievement award at the Association of Pastry Chefs Gala dinner held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel at Hyde Park on 23rd June,
Mr Bachmann was presented with the award by Alan Whatley, president of the Association, “for his outstanding contribution to the industry. He has been an inspiration to many top pastry Chefs and been at the forefront of development of all aspects of pastry work, both during his time at some of the top London hotels and at his fabulous Patisserie in Thames Ditton.”

Bachmans chef wins The Young Chef
of the Year Award
On 2nd June, Will Torrent, a pastry chef at Bachmanns, walked away with The Young Chef of the Year Award at the glittering Craft Guild of Chefs Awards at London Hilton, Park Lane.
Bachmanns Head Pastry Chef, Gregory Crouch Cadoni said “I am delighted for Will - this is a real accolade for a Pastry Chef, and I view this as a compliment to the entire brigade here.” Chris Bachmann added: “Will has really settled in well here and has continued to improve since he arrived. He has become another valued member of the team and if his progress continues he has the potential to become an inspiration for the next generation of young pastry chefs.”

Bachmanns Pastry chefs Skydive
for Charity
On Sunday 23rd August, Greg Cadoni, Wayne Harris and Will Torrent, all completed a tandem skydive from 13,000 feet for the Wish Upon A Star charity, which organises dream days out for terminally ill children. The boys would like to thank all Bachmanns customers who generously supported them on their mission. We are delighted to announce that £1450 was raised for the charity.
